Family is the people who love you and you love them unconditionally – no matter what! Who respect and listen…really listen to your feelings & allow you to have your own beliefs and needs and dreams! They lift you up & they don’t put you down. They show forgiveness and don’t think you are your mistakes. They let you be you…they let grow, learn & guide you. They are who keep you safe and secure & believe in you! They are honest & trustworthy! They stick together no matter what – hard & good times because family = love They make you feel heard & seen xoxo. This is my son’s words at about the age of 7. He told me all this because when not at home he saw a family who simply didn’t know what being a family was and it upset him so I calmly asked well bug what is family? This was his answer! I am proud to say that day I knew I was actually a great mama and I had an even more amazing child, who now is 15 years old and continues to impress me all the time ❤
